Terms of Service

Last updated: October 11, 2026

Who you're contracting with

HostMate is provided by Grego Morales, trading as HostMate ("we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use HostMate, you agree to these terms. If you use HostMate for a business, you confirm you can bind that business; otherwise you confirm you are of legal age.

The service

HostMate is online software for rental hosts: calendars and iCal sync, direct booking pages, a guest inbox with AI reply drafts, revenue and expense tracking, and guest admin forms. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it within your chosen plan.

Your account

Keep your login details confidential and your information accurate. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the listings, prices and guest information you enter.

Acceptable use

  • No unlawful use, fraud, spam or misleading listings.
  • No infringing other people's intellectual property.
  • No malware, probing, scraping or interfering with the service's security.
  • No reverse engineering, reselling, or getting around plan limits.

AI features

AI reply drafts and promo content may be inaccurate. You are responsible for your prompts, for reviewing outputs before sending or posting them, and for having rights to content you upload. We may restrict content or accounts that misuse AI features.

Intellectual property

We own HostMate, its software, documentation and branding. You keep your content and give us a limited license to host and process it only to provide the service.

Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, renewal, tax, cancellation and refund terms are set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms. Plans renew monthly until cancelled. Guest payments you collect through your booking page are between you and your guest and your own payment provider.

Service level and liability

We work to keep HostMate available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance, and calendar sync depends on each platform's refresh schedule. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties, exclude indirect or consequential losses, and cap our total liability at the fees you paid in the previous 12 months. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You can stop using HostMate at any time. After your account ends you may request an export within 30 days; we then delete your data.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. We may update them and will post changes here. Questions: hello@gethostmate.com.
